Description
Our goal in this discussion group is to work together to create a Performance Technology Toolkit for Students that can help them in dealing with school based standards or peer based standards. Taking language from IDEA 2004 we are going to use the following as our framework (though not necessarily in this order):
1. Accommodations
2. Assistive Technology
3. Technology That Supports Learning
4. Universal Design for Learning
Within this framework we will look at a variety of tools, with an emphasis on problem solving and performance. The types of problems will be varied: from inaccessible text to mathematics/science to color theory. The outcome of this discussion group will be a digital handout of resources.
