Adolescent Literacy Work Group

Description

The Adolescent Literacy team, along with representatives from other Comprehensive Centers, are working with Dr. Joe Torgesen's research team from the Florida Center for Reading Research at Florida State University. The goal of this working group is to identify guidance documents and materials that can be used by regional centers in their work with states to improve adolescent literacy outcomes. The group will compile an annotated bibliography for adolescent literacy, a guiding document for effective leadership in adolescent literacy programs, materials to develop and assess adolescent literacy programs, and examine presentation materials to help schools plan instructional and school changes to improve adolescent literacy.
